River Trip Cleanup and a Guides Guide to the Dumoine

June 10 -14 & 15-19th

Join MHO Adventures.com and FOD for a unique skills building trip for new guides.

The trip will be led by senior guides and FOD directors. It will be designed to give young guides a full perspective of how to guide a Dumoine trip with both conservation and historical perspective added to essential whitewater canoe trip guiding skills. Priced $1000 below retail this trip is an investment in the guides of the future for FOD and camps from all over Ontario and Quebec. It’s also a great opportunity to share/learn canoe tripping skills from other camps.

Visit MHOadventures.com Training courses for more details and to register.

A&A Dumoine Stopping Places Field Camp

Late August 2026

We are putting together a group of artists and amateur anthropologists to go into the four stopping places along the Dumoine Hiking Trail and interpret through physical exploration/collection and art the buildings and activities along the trail.

This will be a camping /hiking /canoeing program where each person must be self contained with food, equipment and shelter for at lease a 3-7 day stay. FOD will coordinate transportation and the site plan objectives.

Please send your resume to dumoinefriends@gmail.com describing your skills if you would like to participate.
